Eagles Fall Nine Places On Latest Fifa Ranking By
Nigeria’s Super Eagles have dropped nine places on the latest ranking released by world football’s ruling body, Fifa, on Thursday.
Gernot Rohr’s side, who beat Argentina 4-2 in an international friendly earlier this month, are now ranked 50th in the world.
They are now behind Congo DR, Burkina Faso, and Cameroon, all countries that failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.The top five teams on the continent are Senegal, Tunisia, Egypt, Congo DR, and Morocco.
Meanwhile, world champions Germany top the ranking, with Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium making the top first.
