Plateau Hold Enyimba In Super Six Opener
Nigerian champions Plateau United played out a 1-1 draw with Enyimba in the opening game of the Super Six tournament on Monday.
Chinedu Udeagha grabbed the opener for the Peoples Elephant in the 33rd minute of the game played at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kaduna.
However, the Peace Boys leveled things up after Tosin Omoyele beat the Enyimba goalie in the 92rd minute of the match.
The Aba team were reduced to 10-men after stand-in captain Uche John got the marching orders for an elbow on United’s midfielder Jimmy Ambrose in the first half.
The competition also features MFM FC, Akwa United, Kano Pillars and the home-based Super Eagles.
