Chelsea forward Willian has jokingly said his goal against Liverpool was a shot.
The goal salvaged a point for the Blues at Anfield on Saturday, after Mohamed Salah had put the Reds ahead in the 65th minute.
The Brazilian, who seemed to be attempting a cross, only for the ball to land in the net, told Chelsea TV it was a shot.
“For sure, it was a shot, no doubt,” Willian said.
“Some people ask, ‘You want to cross or you want to shoot?’ I said, ‘Shoot, of course. Too much quality’.”
Speaking further, he expressed delight over the draw and added that the London side will remain focused.
He said: “I’m happy to score this beautiful goal. In this kind of game, it’s important to score goals.
“Now we have to carry on and stick together in this moment because we want to win every game.”
The point leaves Antonio Conte’s men third in the Premier League standings.
