Cut Ties With North Korea, US Urges All Nations
The US has called on all nations to condemn and cut diplomatic and trade ties with North Korea, in the wake of Pyongyang’s latest missile test.
The Asian country claimed its third intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) test was capable of striking anywhere in the United States.
But experts have cast doubt on the country’s ability to master such technology.
However, the country’s leader, Kim Jong-Un, claimed, after the missile test on Wednesday, that his isolated country was now a full nuclear state.
And speaking at the UN Security Council, US envoy Nikki Haley said President Trump had asked his Chinese counterpart to cut off oil supplies to the North Korea.
She further said the US did not seek conflict but that Pyongyang’s regime would be “utterly destroyed” if war broke out.
