PDP Planning To Rig 2019 Elections – Buhari Group
The Peoples Democratic Party is still playing dirty politics and has not learned anything from its defeat in 2015, says Buhari Campaign Organisation.
It also alleged that the party was planning to use looted funds to buy over voters during the 2019 elections.
Recall that the PDP conducted its elective National Convention on Saturday.
The Buhari group in a statement on Sunday alleged that the PDP was still involved in money politics.
“The continuation of such dirty politics to win elections at all cost, by people who looted the wealth of the country in the past is a signal that the party has not learnt any lessons from Nigerians,” the statement read.
“The widespread allegations of buying delegates and Governors at the convention of the biggest opposition party in the country is worrisome.
“We see this as a signal that coming 2019 such attitude will continue whereby PDP candidates will use looted funds to converse for votes.”
“We are disappointed that despite the clamour of the fight against corruption in the country, the PDP has not yet changed. We the ‘Buharists’ are ready to face any politician in 2019 no matter how much he/she holds on election day.”
