Hapoel Ashkelon of Israel goalkeeper Bamidele Aiyenugba is hopeful of getting a recall to the Super Eagles team ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

He also lauded the team’s handlers for a great job thus far and said they are on track.

Nigeria is having difficulties in the goal keeping department and the 34-year-old is hopeful he can make the team for the showpiece next year.

In addition, he called for early preparation for the side. He also said that will ensure they put out a good outing in Vladimir Putin’s country.

“I think the team has got it right now, everything is working perfectly, the guys in the team are ready to fight and win,” the former Enyimba goalie told Brila.net

“I can say this team is the real Super Eagles, and the Coach has also improved the team, they are doing great right now.”

Aiyenugba has 17 caps for the Eagles since his debut in 2005.
