Adamawa Sets Up C’tee On Farmers-Herdsmen Clash
The Adamawa state government has set up a six-man commission of inquiry to investigate the clashes between herdsmen and farmers in Demsa and Numan.
Governor Mohammed Jibrilla said on Wednesday the group would submit its reports within six days from its first sitting.
Members of the groups are to investigate causes of the clashes as well as determine the level of damage during the period.
The governor pledged his commitment to end the crises and called on residence of the areas to come up with a template on how to curtail future occurrences; measures on rehabilitation and settlement of those affected by the crises.
