Basel Set To Tie Teenager Okafor To A Long-Term Deal

Following his outstanding performances for the youth side, wonderkid Noah Okafor is set to be offered his first professional contract by FC Basel.
The 17-year-old, who is of Nigerian descent, has been at the club since he was eight. He grew through the ranks at the club, and has been called up at the Switzerland U-18 squad.
Okafor is a top prospect in world football and already tagged the ‘next Kylian Mbappe’ because of his blistering pace and ability to beat his opponent in one-on-one situations.
He is currently enjoying a fine outing in the UEFA Youth League, helping Basel to qualify for the next round with two goals and four assists to his credit.
Basel are keen to tie Okafor up on a long-time deal as he is already attracting the interest of Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund.
