Greatness was unleashed at the 2017 Edition of Soundcity MVP Awards, which took place on Friday at the Eko Hotel and Suites.

The event, which was hosted by Ebuka Uchendu, is presented yearly by Soundcity TV to award plaques to musicians and performers across Africa.

The award categories were, Best Male MVP, Best Female MVP, Best Hiphop, Best Pop, Best Collaboration, Viewers’ Choice, Listeners’ Choice, Digital Artiste of the Year, Video of the Year, Best Group, Song of the Year, Best New Artiste, African Producer of the Year and African Artiste of the Year.
