Ugandan Singer Radio Dead
Popular Ugandan superstar, Moses Ssekibogo has been declared dead after undergoing emergency brain surgery.
Radio’s team confirmed his death in a press statement on Thursday.
The singer was hospitalized after being allegedly assaulted while leaving a bar following a misunderstanding
The assault left him needing major brain surgery.
After the surgery, which took place on January 23, he was reported to have been stable and alive, before he suddenly went into crisis and died on February 1.
Prior to his death, the Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni was reported to have donated 30 million Ugandan shillings to his team for his upkeep.
A Friday mass has been scheduled to hold in his honour at the Rubaga Cathedral Church.
His body will also be on view at the Ugandan National Theatre at 4 PM on Friday.
