Kano Pillars Put Out Mountain Of Fire
Junior Lokosa scored his seventh goal of the season as Kano Pillars overpowered MFM FC 2-0 to maintain third spot in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
Pillars are two points adrift of leaders Akwa United, who demolished Wikki Tourists 4-0 in Uyo.
Lokosa opened the scoring from the spot in the 52nd minute before subtitute Adamu Hassan scored the second goal deep into stoppage time.
“This is a very good result. We will continue to play hard in order to get three points at home and away,” head coach of Pillars Ibrahim Musa said.
