ANTHONY JOSHUA ORDERED TO FIGHT OLEKSANDR USYK

The British-Nigerian born, Anthony Joshua who just reclaimed his heavy weight belts by defeating Andy Ruiz in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night, 7th December has been ordered to fight Oleksandr Usyk within 180 days.

The Brit was told to take on the Ukranian challenger; 32 year old newboy Usyk, by WBO. The two-time champion allayed his fear of fighting Ukranian Champion who just moved from cruise weight to heavy weight.

Oleksandr who reigned as the undisputed cruiser weight champion from July 2018 until he vacated his titles in March 2019 was the first cruiser weight champion in history to hold all four major championships- WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO titles. Heavy weight champion AJ has relished the herculean challenge of fighting Usyk.

Joshua has now welcomed a fight with the Ukranian while relishing his victory over the Mexican Champion .“In 180 days, let’s rock ‘n roll then! No problem,” the heavyweight champion said.
